Let's take a look at math classes. Mathematics classes offered during this term are listed on this page by course number and title. To learn more about the class click on the title. Let's take a look at Math 60.
Here you can read a description of the class and see what the prerequisites for the class are. You can also see how many credits you will earn for the class. By scrolling down, you can see that there are multiple sections of the course being offered this term.
One of the most important pieces of information on this page is the CRN, or Course reference number. You will need to know this number in order to register for a class and to buy your textbooks. Make careful note of the CRN because the wrong CRN could put you into the wrong class or campus location.
You can see the campus, building and room number for the class as well as the instructor who will be teaching it. You can tell from the class schedule that there is an additional fee for this class. In this box you can also find out the time, days, and dates the class is offered. As you choose the classes you plan to take, make sure the days and times of the classes do not conflict.
By scrolling down, you will also see that some of the courses have a blue icon that show this class has a different delivery method such as being offered on the web, or television.
